The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back! After 2018’s Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series on Nickelodeon, the turtles return in this continuation of the series finale.

The movie will feature a battle against the series-regular evil aliens the Krang, and the return of another series-regular face that many fans will be excited to see appear. The film will serve as a follow-up to the Nickelodeon animated series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The show ran from July 20th 2018, until August 7th 2020. When Is the Release Date of Rise of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie?

It’s out now! Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie was released on the streaming platform Netflix on August 5th 2022. Netflix announced its involvement in the project in February 2019. There are currently no signs of a theatrical release for the film. Production for the film was completed on April 7th 2022. The film originally had an earlier release date of August 27th 2021.

Who Are the Cast and Confirmed Characters of Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie?

The Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles television series was praised for its strong voice acting. Luckily for fans, much of the cast will be reprising their roles for the film.

Ben Schwartz plays Leonardo, Omar Benson Miller plays Raphael, Brandon Mychal Smith plays Michelangelo, and Josh Brener plays Donatello. The supporting cast is returning as well, Eric Bauza will return as the mutated rat Splinter. Kat Graham provides the voice of April O’Neil. Haley Joel Osment will voice to Casey Jones.

More familiar faces from the television series join the production of the film. Ant Ward and Andy Suriano will be continuing the work from the television series and directing the film. The film will be produced by Nickelodeon Movies and Nickelodeon Animation Studio, and distributed by Netflix. Matt Mahaffey composed the score for the movie. He also worked on the television series and has written the music for a number of Nickelodeon’s other shows.

Paw Patrol Live

Paw Patrol is a great family friendly show and as it’s part of our licencing portfolio we thought we would let you know that they are now on tour with ‘Paw Patrol Live’. They are on tour throughout the UK and it’s next stop is to Nottingham Motorpoint arena!

Paw Patrol is a Canadian computer-animated children’s television series created by Keith Chapman. It is produced by Spin Master Entertainment, with animation provided by Guru Studio. In Canada, the series is primarily broadcast on TVOKids, which first ran previews of the show in August 2013. The series premiered on Nickelodeon in the United States on August 12, 2013.

The series focuses on a young boy named Ryder who leads a crew of search and rescue dogs that call themselves the Paw Patrol. They work together on missions to protect the shoreside community of Adventure Bay and surrounding areas. Each dog has a specific set of skills based on emergency services professions, such as a firefighter, a police officer, and an aviation pilot. They all reside in doghouses that transform into customized vehicles, or “pupmobiles”, for their missions. They are also equipped with special hi-tech backpacks called “pup packs” that contain tools relating to the pups’ jobs.

The show features Mayor Goodway who goes missing during the day of the Great Adventure Bay Race and the famous pups coming to the rescue. The musical teaches children about citizenship, social skills and problem-solving as the characters each use their unique skills and teamwork.

It also features Bunraku puppetry, an innovative costuming approach that brings the Paw Patrol characters to life on stage with their vehicles and packs. The show promises classical theatrical scenery combined with high-tech video walls which can transport the audience to an authentic Paw Patrol environment.

DC League of Super Pets

There’s a new superhero squad in town! Meet the adorable squad working hard to save the day in the new family release, DC League of Super Pets.

From the makers of The LEGO Movie, this all-star adventure showcases the canine companions of Superman and Batman. Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart voice Krypto and Ace whose loyalty to their masters. When Superman and Batman are kidnapped by the nefarious Lex Luthor, Krypto and Ace must call on the animal equivalent of the Justice League to save the day. Pint-sized guinea pig Lulu belongs to no-one and voiced of one Kate McKinnon.

5. Merton

Voiced by Natasha Lyonne

American Pie’s Natasha Lyonne voices the terrapin Merton, beloved sidekick of The Flash/Barry Allen.

Voiced by Diego Luna

The Motorcycle Diaries and Rogue One star Diego Luna voices squirrel Chip, whose electrokinetic abilities make him an excellent pairing with Green Lantern.

Cars on the Road

Disney and Pixar have a brand new Cars spinoff series Cars on the Road and released a first-look trailer for the animated series. As Disney is within our licencing portfolio, we thought we would give you a brief synopsis of the new series set to premiere on Disney+ on September 8th 2022.

Cars on the Road, a by-product of the beloved Cars movies that tracked Lightning McQueen’s (Owen Wilson) racing career, now follows McQueen and his best friend Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) as they head east from Radiator Springs on a cross-country road trip to meet up with a new character. Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy voiced the characters in the movies and return to reprise their roles in the animated series.

“The series is a romp across the country with Lightning McQueen and Mater,” said director Steve Purcell. “Like any real road trip, every day is a new mini-adventure with unexpected twists and turns.”

Cars on the Road is produced by Marc Sondheimer. Steve Purcell, Bobby Podesta and Brian Fee each directed episodes, and Jake Monaco composed the score for all nine.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

During this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel unveiled their eagerly anticipated upcoming titles including the brand-new instalment of the Black Panther franchise.

Wakanda Forever, set to be released later this year!

It will be the first Black Panther film since the death of lead actor Chadwick Boseman. Marvel confirmed that they would not be recasting Boseman’s iconic role and would instead be focusing on the wider characters and history of Wakanda in the film. Director Ryan Coogler and the cast confirmed the film will pay tribute to Boseman.

When does Black Panther: Wakanda Forever come out?

Fans of the Black Panther franchise won’t have to wait much longer as Wakanda Forever is set to be released on November 11th, 2022.

What is the plot?

Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye and the Dora Milaje, fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.

‘As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia and Everett Ross and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda.’

Who is in the cast?

The new film will see the return of some familiar characters as well as some new faces.

Letitia Wright is back as T’Challa’s younger sister Shuri, with Danai Gurira also returning as the Dora Milaje’s Okoye and Lupita Nyong’o as Wakandan spy Nakia.

Angela Bassett is also back as T’Challa’s mother Ramonda, as well as Winston Duke as M’Baku, Florence Kasumba as Dora Milaje warrior Ayo, and Martin Freeman as Everett Ross.

Newcomers to the cast include Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, who will also appear in her own Disney Plus show Ironheart.

Other newcomers include Michaela Coel as Dora Milaje leader Aneka and Tenoch Huerta as Talocan king Namor.

Emily in Paris

Emily in Paris is one of the latest Netflix shows that everyone is talking about! It follows a social media marketer to Paris, as she joins the French branch of the American marketing agency that she works for. As Emily in Paris is a part of our licencing portfolio, we thought we would point out some noteworthy locations shot in the series;

1 – PLACE DE L’ESTRAPADE AND JARDIN DES TUILERIES

Naturally when Emily arrives in the taxi, we see some of the typical landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. In addition to this we see her moving into her old building apartment in a charming little square with a fountain. This is the Place de l’Estrapade, which you can find near the Pantheon in central Paris.

The Jardin des Tuileries is where Emily first meets Mindy. Stretching out between the Louvre and Place de la Concorde, the Tuileries is a big public park perfect for a walk through, where locals jog or just to relax on the loungers by the fountains. It’s also where the Christmas market is and has views of the Eiffel Tower.

2 – PONT ALEXANDRE III

The risqué perfume advert of episode three is filmed across the Pont Alexandre III bridge, one of the most elegant, ornate and extravagant bridges that crosses the Seine. It’s beautiful, and as well as being a sight in itself, it offers some of the most spectacular views of Paris too.

3 – RALPH’S RESTAURANT

The location where we see Emily meet a rep of AFL at a restaurant in Saint Germain for lunch, they’re eating at Ralph’s restaurant, and Emily is shocked to find the menu is in English. It may not be the most French place, but it is lovely and worth a visit.

4 – LA MAISON ROSE

One of the most Instagram’d spots in all of Paris also features in this episode, when Emily discusses how Sylvie has told her to delete her Instagram account with Mindy at La Maison Rose. This cafe and the street they walk down, was voted one of the prettiest in Paris.

5 – PLACE VENDOME

Emily attends a lunch in episode five, at a grand hotel on Place Vendome. It is home to a pretty impressive hotel, the Paris Ritz, and is a French luxury brand hotspot with giants Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Cartier stores.
