A cultural phenomenon, Mean Girls follows teenage Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) who was educated in Africa by her scientist parents. When her family moves to the suburbs of Illinois, Cady finally gets to experience public school and gets a quick lesson on the cruel laws of popularity that divide her fellow students into tightly knit cliques. She unwittingly finds herself in the good graces of an elite group of cool students dubbed “the Plastics,” but Cady soon realizes how her shallow group of new friends earned this nickname.

Jamie Lee Curtis returns for the last time as Laurie Strode, the role that launched Curtis’ career. Curtis has portrayed Laurie for more than four decades now, one of the longest actor-character pairings in cinema history. When the franchise relaunched in 2018, Halloween shattered box office records, becoming the franchise’s highest-grossing chapter and set a new record for the biggest opening weekend for a horror film starring a woman.
Set four years after the events of 2021’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the spectre of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all. Halloween Ends co-stars returning cast Will Patton as Officer Frank Hawkins, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace and James Jude Courtney as The Shape.

Godfather is a true classic and as it is within our licencing portfolio, we thought we would give you a brief reminder about the movie and where you can watch it right now!
The Godfather is an American franchise about a Sicilian-American crime family, the Corleones, fighting their way through the streets of New York and eventually America. The saga details the rise and fall of Michael Corleone, son of Don Vito Corleone. Forever remembered for its memorable quotes, the story is one of violence, family and friends, and loyalty.
The franchise began as a novel by Italian-American author Mario Puzo, The Godfather, which was adapted into a trilogy of critically acclaimed films directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Various spin-off novels and video games followed in their wake.
The cast includes the likes of the incredible Marlon Branda, Al Pacino, James Caan and many more.

‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3: Everything You Need to Know
Since Disney took over the Star Wars franchise there have been huge hits, but the one major hit has been The Mandalorian. The Star Wars spin-off series that helped with the success of Disney+ when it first released.
Set after events of the original trilogy, the first two seasons of The Mandalorian has weaved in Star Wars lore from all three movie trilogies, while still creating new and exciting characters to take the saga to brand-new places.
As Both Disney and Star Wars are within our licencing portfolio, here’s everything you need to know about the third season of The Mandalorian.
When will The Mandalorian Season 3 be released on Disney+?
The Mandalorian Season 3 will arrive on Disney+ in February 2023.
Filming for the third season began in October 2021 and wrapped at the end of March 2022. The first two seasons of The Mandalorian both had eight episodes, so while nothing has been confirmed, it’s probably reasonable to expect eight episodes this time too.
A fourth season for The Mandalorian is in development but won’t be released until 2024.
Is there a trailer for The Mandalorian Season 3?
Yes! Disney unveiled the first trailer for The Mandalorian Season 3 at its recent D23 fan event. And there’s likely to be another trailer before the series arrives next year. Watch the trailer below!
Which characters will be in The Mandalorian Season 3?
Pedro Pascal will once again be back as Din Djarin, a bounty hunter who was adopted into the Mandalorian culture as a youngling after his parents were murdered in the Clone Wars. Grogu will also be back, which will no doubt mean even more merchandise of the cute Jedi Padawan to be flogged at your nearest Disney Store.
Giancarlo Esposito will also be back – for a time, at least – as the show’s main villain, the sinister Moff Gideon.
Bounty hunter guild leader Greef Karga (Carl Weathers) and scrappy mechanic Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris) will also be returning for the third season. And as the trailer reveals, weapons master and expert on ‘The Mandalorian way’, the Armorer (Emily Swallow) is back to give Mando some sage advice and even better weapons.
Excitingly, Back to the Future star Christopher Lloyd has also joined the cast in a mystery role. The Mandalorian has become famous for featuring fan-favourite characters from across Star Wars lore. The show previously brought back the likes of Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka, Katee Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan Kryze, Temuera Morrison’s Boba Fett, and of course, Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). Babu Frik, and the loveable droidsmith will be making an appearance in The Mandalorian’s third run.
What’s the story so far in The Mandalorian?
A lot has happened since The Mandalorian first introduced us to bounty hunter Din Djarin back in 2019.
Throughout the first season, viewers were given glimpses of Djarin’s backstory through flashbacks. We learned that his family were murdered by separatist droids during the Clone Wars, but Djarin was then adopted into the Mandalorian culture and trained in the ways of their cult.
Originally hired to capture Grogu – an infant of the same species as Jedi Master Yoda – the Mandalorian instead protects him and becomes a father figure to him.
The pair then get embroiled in a series of mostly standalone adventures while remnants of the fallen Galactic Empire attempt to capture Grogu to use his Force abilities.
At the end of The Mandalorian season two Din Djarin rescued Grogu from Moff Gideon’s cruiser, joined by allies Bo-Katan and her Mandalorian warriors. The rescue looked doomed until Jedi Master Luke Skywalker arrives to save the day.
Appearing in several episodes of spin-off series The Book of Boba Fett, Djarin and Grogu were seen departing Tatooine in their new N-1 Starfighter after battling the Pyke syndicate and helping Boba Fett to liberate Mos Espa.
What happens in The Mandalorian Season 3?
Apart from what we’ve seen in the trailer, much of the plot for The Mandalorian Season 3 remains unknown.
After Moff Gideon was captured at the end of season two, it remains to be seen if he will be executed or imprisoned for his crimes. Perhaps he will escape and continue to hunt down Grogu, or perhaps he could turn to the light side of the force.
Grogu has already rejected training in the arts of the Jedi with Luke Skywalker, instead choosing to reunite with Din Djarin, but that won’t stop his force abilities from growing – will he be able to control his powers without the help of a Jedi teacher?
Din Djarin is now the owner of the Darksaber after defeating Moff Gideon, its previous owner, in battle. But this doesn’t please Bo-Katan who believes the weapon should belong to her as the ruler of the Mandalore people. It’s almost certain that the fight for the Darksaber – and the ruler of Mandalore – is far from over.

There have been countless TV shows through the years but only a select few can stand the test of time and reach multiple generations. One of these shows would be Friends! A global phenomenon, Friends has become the most watched show in the UK, the USA and although it finished 18 years ago, the show still airs globally and earns $1 billion annually. Here are five weird facts about Friends that you may not have known:
1. The apartment numbers switched during the series.
At the beginning of the series, Monica’s door had the number 5 on it. The producers later realised that didn’t make sense as Monica lived on a higher floor. They changed her apartment number to 20. The number on Chandler’s apartment changed as well—from 4 to 19.
2. Bruce Willis appeared on the show for free after losing a bet to Matthew Perry.
Mathew Perry got into a debate with Bruce Willis while the two were making The Whole Nine Yards. Perry believed that the film would be number one in the box office on its opening weekend, but Willis disagreed. In February 2000, the film was number one. Willis was set to appear on Friends as the dad of Ross’s girlfriend and Rachel’s love interest. As a result of the bet, he had to donate his earnings for the guest stint to charity.
3. The opening credits were not shot in New York.
Don’t let your New York City tour guide trick you into thinking that you’re looking at the fountain from the iconic opening credits of Friends. Although the fountain looks a lot like Central Park’s Pulitzer Fountain, the actual shoot occurred on a Warner Bros. lot.
4. Lisa Kudrow didn’t know how to play guitar.
“I didn’t like the guitar” Lisa Kudrow admitted about Phoebe Buffay’s chosen musical instrument. “I wasn’t getting it. So I think I even asked, ‘What if she plays the bongos?'” They ended up bringing a guitar teacher in. Kudrow learned a couple of chords, then announced that she was done with the lessons. She decided that Phoebe would only know a handful of chords anyway. And thank goodness because “Smelly Cat” is perfect just the way it is.
5. None of the actors was a huge fan of the theme song.
Though it’s impossible to imagine Friends without also envisioning the opening credits, in which the cast play in a fountain and dance along to the Rembrandts’ “I’ll Be There for You,” apparently no one was a huge fan of the tune. “No one was really a big fan of that theme song,” Aniston said while appearing on The One show in 2016. She then backtracked a bit: “I don’t mean to say that. We felt it was a little, I don’t know. Dancing in a fountain felt sort of odd, but we did it.”

Hocus Pocus 2 is a fantasy movie and the sequel to the 1993 Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus. The movie was released on Disney+ on September 30th, 2022 and as Disney is within our licencing portfolio, we thought we would give you a brief throwback to the original movie and let you know all about the new sequel.
The Disney movie is a story of three witch sisters who were executed in Salem in 1693 and returned to create havoc 300 years later, on Halloween. It is more than a classic; it is a cultural touchstone. Moderately successful on its first release, it became a phenomenon on home video and is now an annual tradition for many families, with parents who loved it in the ’90s sharing it with the next generation. Disney hit just the right spot between spooky and silly, with Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as a sort of witchy Three Stooges.
Nearly 30 years later, Hocus Pocus 2 should make fans of all generations happy, paying tribute to the original and adding some gentle updating. The Black Flame Candle has been accidently lit and resurrected the 17th-century Sanderson sisters, and as it has been almost 30 years since they were last released, they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve. The adult cast from the first movie includes Doug Jones, the brilliant actor behind the creature in The Shape of Water and Abe in Hellboy, as the hapless zombie Billy Butcherson and welcomes new additions including Tony Hale, Sam Richardson and Hannah Waddingham.
In the short time the film has been released it has received praise from both critics and fans all across the world from all different generations!
