Paw Patrol Live

Paw Patrol is a great family friendly show and as it’s part of our licencing portfolio we thought we would let you know that they are now on tour with ‘Paw Patrol Live’. They are on tour throughout the UK and it’s next stop is to Nottingham Motorpoint arena!

Paw Patrol is a Canadian computer-animated children’s television series created by Keith Chapman. It is produced by Spin Master Entertainment, with animation provided by Guru Studio. In Canada, the series is primarily broadcast on TVOKids, which first ran previews of the show in August 2013. The series premiered on Nickelodeon in the United States on August 12, 2013.

The series focuses on a young boy named Ryder who leads a crew of search and rescue dogs that call themselves the Paw Patrol. They work together on missions to protect the shoreside community of Adventure Bay and surrounding areas. Each dog has a specific set of skills based on emergency services professions, such as a firefighter, a police officer, and an aviation pilot. They all reside in doghouses that transform into customized vehicles, or “pupmobiles”, for their missions. They are also equipped with special hi-tech backpacks called “pup packs” that contain tools relating to the pups’ jobs.

The show features Mayor Goodway who goes missing during the day of the Great Adventure Bay Race and the famous pups coming to the rescue. The musical teaches children about citizenship, social skills and problem-solving as the characters each use their unique skills and teamwork.

It also features Bunraku puppetry, an innovative costuming approach that brings the Paw Patrol characters to life on stage with their vehicles and packs. The show promises classical theatrical scenery combined with high-tech video walls which can transport the audience to an authentic Paw Patrol environment.

DC League of Super Pets

There’s a new superhero squad in town! Meet the adorable squad working hard to save the day in the new family release, DC League of Super Pets.

From the makers of The LEGO Movie, this all-star adventure showcases the canine companions of Superman and Batman. Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart voice Krypto and Ace whose loyalty to their masters. When Superman and Batman are kidnapped by the nefarious Lex Luthor, Krypto and Ace must call on the animal equivalent of the Justice League to save the day. As Warner Bros are within our licencing portfolio, we thought we would introduce you to the squad:

1. Krypto

Voiced by Dwayne Johnson

A dog whose bite is as powerful as his bark, Krypto is loyal to Clark Kent/Superman. And don’t be fooled by that fluffy exterior – Krypto is as impressive as Superman is!

2. Ace

Voiced by Kevin Hart

AKA the Wonder Dog, Ace attempts to match his master Batman in the growling, brooding stakes.

3. PB

Voiced by Vanessa Bayer

Trainwreck scene-stealer Vanessa Bayer voices the endearing pig PB who is owned by Wonder Woman (voiced by Jameela Jamil).

4. Lulu

Voiced by Kate McKinnon

Pint-sized guinea pig Lulu belongs to no-one and voiced of one Kate McKinnon.

5. Merton

Voiced by Natasha Lyonne

American Pie’s Natasha Lyonne voices the terrapin Merton, beloved sidekick of The Flash/Barry Allen.

6. Chip

Voiced by Diego Luna

The Motorcycle Diaries and Rogue One star Diego Luna voices squirrel Chip, whose electrokinetic abilities make him an excellent pairing with Green Lantern.

Cars on the Road

Disney and Pixar have a brand new Cars spinoff series Cars on the Road and released a first-look trailer for the animated series. As Disney is within our licencing portfolio, we thought we would give you a brief synopsis of the new series set to premiere on Disney+ on September 8th 2022.

Cars on the Road, a by-product of the beloved Cars movies that tracked Lightning McQueen’s (Owen Wilson) racing career, now follows McQueen and his best friend Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) as they head east from Radiator Springs on a cross-country road trip to meet up with a new character. Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy voiced the characters in the movies and return to reprise their roles in the animated series.

“The series is a romp across the country with Lightning McQueen and Mater,” said director Steve Purcell. “Like any real road trip, every day is a new mini-adventure with unexpected twists and turns.”

Cars on the Road is produced by Marc Sondheimer. Steve Purcell, Bobby Podesta and Brian Fee each directed episodes, and Jake Monaco composed the score for all nine.

Eternals

As Marvel Studios releases many different movies and series, it’s hard to keep up with certain story lines and often you may miss a film. Eternals is an incredible film that we feel isn’t talked about enough and therefore missed. As Marvel and Disney are a part of our licencing portfolio, we thought give you a brief synopsis and hopefully encourage you to watch it on Disney+.

Marvel Studios Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, the Deviants.

The film is directed and co-written by Chloé Zhao and stars Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Barry Keoghan as Druig, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Harish Patel as Karun Patel, Bill Skarsgård as Kro, with Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, with Salma Hayek as Ajak, and Angelina Jolie as Thena.

Eternals is the twenty-sixth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the seventh instalment of Phase Four. The film was released on November 5, 2021.
